Paid in Sats is built and run by Rob Woodgate: Cashu core developer, lead maintainer of cashu-ts (the TypeScript library most Cashu wallets and tools build on), and a builder of merchant software since 1999. The browser-side settlement pattern used here is public in his other work, Cashu for WooCommerce and cashu-vpn.
What it is: hosted payment links, tip jars, a point-of-sale keypad and Lightning addresses. Customers pay with any Lightning or Cashu wallet; funds melt straight to your Lightning address. Nothing is parked on our servers, and we never see your keys: the twelve words are generated in your browser and never leave it. How it works has the full story.
